About Pack 370
Cub Scout Pack 370 is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and is a member of the Atlanta Area Council, Boy Scouts of America.
Our charter organization is St. James United Methodist Church on Peachtree-Dunwoody Road.
We are a proud Family Scouting Pack, and welcome all boys AND girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We primarily serve the Buckhead, Sandy Springs, and Brookhaven area and have members from many local elementary schools, including Sarah Smith and High Point, among others.
Why join Pack 370?
Pack 370 has been operating for many years, and is part of a strong scouting program at St. James UMC. We have over 100 members and dozens of trained parent volunteers providing a great experience for Cubs of all ages. The kids have lots of fun, and we're building character along the way.
We love to camp! We offer two camping trips a year, in Fall and Spring. If your family is new to camping, this is a great way to learn the ropes with the help of lots of experienced campers.
Special events include our Pinewood Derby, an annual “Blue and Gold Banquet” to celebrate the birthday of the BSA, and offer our Scouts fun and memorable experiences with their families. We typically plan another fun day or overnight trip (Stone Mountain, USS Yorktown, GA Aquarium, etc.) as well. Check out our calendar to see what's planned in the near future.
Annual Program
The Pack Year for Pack 370 aligns with the typical school year (Aug – May). As part of our Pack, you’ll typically attend 2 - 3 events each month during the school year.
Your “Den,” which includes girls or boys at the same grade level, will hold their own meetings or outings once or twice a month, which are geared around earning belt loops and working towards your rank badge over the course of the year. Den meetings are typically held at the church, a family's home, or another neighborhood location.
All the "Dens" together make up our "Pack". We have one “Pack” level meeting per month that brings together Scouts of all grade levels. Pack Meetings are typically held on the 2nd or 3rd Thursday evening of most months, from 6:30-7:30 pm. Other pack events throughout the year are generally on weekends.
